My work is inspired by my own personal experiences travelling abroad and my interaction with different cities and cultures. I am intrigued by the way different cities and their houses reveal something of their country's culture, identity and inevitably its history. Literature is also important in my work, and I use poems or extracts from novels in my drawings and sketchbooks to illustrate further the feelings which these environments evoke.
